Hulder is a one-woman black metal project by Belgian-born, Pacific Northwest-based multi-instrumentalist Marz Riesterer (also known as the Inquisitor), named for a forest spirit from Scandinavian folklore. Since its 2018 formation, Hulder has released several critically acclaimed demos, followed by full-length albums like Godslastering: Hymns of a Forlorn Peasantry and Verses in Oath, showcasing a unique blend of classic and "dark medieval" black metal sound.
