NCom Film Club's Deadly Christmas Month! Silent Night, Deadly Night 3: Better Watch Out! (1989): The killer Ricky Caldwell awakens from a coma after six years and is psychically linked to Laura, a blind teenage girl with psychic powers who is being used in experiments to communicate with him. On Christmas Eve, Ricky escapes the hospital and begins stalking Laura, her brother Chris, and his girlfriend Jerri as they travel to their grandmother's house. Laura's clairvoyance allows her to see Ricky's actions, and she eventually confronts him, surviving the attack until the police arrive. Silent Night, Deadly Night 4: Initiation (1990): A reporter investigating a mysterious death, who becomes entangled with a coven of witches who plan to initiate her into their cult during a Christmas Eve ritual. The film departs from the series' killer Santa theme and focuses on a supernatural horror storyline involving witchcraft and grotesque body-horror effects. The reporter, Kim Levitt, becomes the target of Fima and her followers, who intend to use her for a sacrificial ceremony involving black magic and bizarre, often disgusting, creature and bug-related effects. Films start at 7pm. Free and open to the public with a small purchase from our snack bar. We have plenty of seating or feel free to bring your own.
