Smile Empty Soul is an American heavy alternative rock band formed in 1998 in Santa Clarita, California, by singer/guitarist Sean Danielsen. The band gets a very large live sound with just Sean and Jon Loree on Drums. Known for their grunge-influenced sound, raw lyrics, and relentless touring, the band achieved gold-certified success with their 2003 self-titled debut album.
