The Queers are an American punk rock band formed in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, in 1981 by Joe King (aka Joe Queer). The band is known for its blend of pop, punk, and surf rock influences, often with humorous and tongue-in-cheek lyrics. After an initial breakup, the band reformed in 1986 with King remaining as the sole constant member, and has released numerous albums throughout its history.
