Von Hawks Rising (VHR) is a 501c(3) rock cover band that monetarily supports families of children impacted by extreme illness or traumatic experiences. VHR was created in the fall of 2020, during the pandemic. VHR's vision and mission were founded by local musicians who wanted to do more with their talents than just entertain. Von Hawks Rising has grown into a large, collaborative organization of volunteers dedicated to the mission of bringing "Hope Beyond the Sound." Our organization is 100% volunteer driven and many of our support services are donated. Web design, graphics, printing, social media are all donated by businesses and individuals who believe in our mission. With very low operating costs, no office rent, and no paid staff or administrative costs you can be assured each dollar raised has the maximum impact to our VHR Kids!
