We are thrilled to announce "Neechie-Itas" by Jo MacDonald, (Anishinaabe) is this year's featured festival production in our 10th consecutive year of presenting new Native work to Oklahoma audiences! This new comedy follows four women who start out for a night on the town and end up spending a night in jail in a case of mistaken identity- or was it? This year, we are also thrilled to be joining forces with our community partners, the University of Central Oklahoma Theatre Arts Department. Many thanks to Dr. Kato Buss and Latricia Reichman for hosting the festival on the UCO campus.

About the Playwright, JO MacDONALD (Anishinaabe) Jo is a First Nations writer based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She is an uber fan of Eddie Izzard, Henry Rollins and theatre.
