Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame Releases Second Installment of 2022 Inductees A 25th Anniversary Celebration and Concert.

MUSKOGEE, OK
- In celebration of their 25th Anniversary, the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame has released the names of their second installment of 2022 inductees. The roster includes some of Oklahoma's most accomplished singer /songwriter/ musicians who will be honored in a ceremony and concert to be held at the Muskogee Civic Center on Friday, November 11th. Joining the ranks of OMHOF's twenty-five years of honoring outstanding Oklahoma artists and music industry leaders are, Nashville's singer/songwriter Wade Hayes from Bethel Acres, Oklahoma, Muskogee's own Jim Paul Blair, (posthumous) and the popular Turnpike Troubadours from Tahlequah, Oklahoma.

Turnpike Troubadours is an American country music band from Tahlequah, Oklahoma founded in 2005. They started their own imprint, Bossier City Records, in 2007 and have released five studio albums. Their self-titled 2015 album peaked at number 17 on the Billboard 200.

Wade Hayes - Country music's power has always been in its ability to reflect real life, and few artists have a stronger gift for capturing both heartache and hope than Wade Hayes. In the past few years, the singer/songwriter has navigated a complicated journey that has produced some of the most potent songs of his already impressive career.

Jim Paul Blair - Blair, an Okie from Muskogee, was literally born into the music business, the son of Ramona Reed, a Grand Ole Opry performer and Texas Playboys band member. Jim Paul Blair chose his own path to destiny and made many contributions to the musical world. And was a permanent sighting at Berline's Oklahoma International Bluegrass Festival.

Oklahoma Music Hall Of Fame - More than 100 of the world's most famous musicians, artists and songwriters have the distinct honor of being inducted into the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame.

It's fitting that this relatively small state serves as home for the Music Hall of Fame. Why? Oklahoma's roots are firmly planted in rich musical history, and the state has produced dozens of notable talents whose gifts and musical styles are as breathtaking and diverse as the Oklahoma landscape.

Inductees include acclaimed musicians, singers, songwriters and performers like Woody Guthrie, Vince Gill, Carrie Underwood, Kristin Chenoweth, Bob Wills, Leona Mitchell, Hank Thompson, David Gates and many more. Each inductee calls Oklahoma home and, in 1996, the Oklahoma Legislature created the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame to educate and entertain generations about this musical legacy. Perhaps, for obvious reasons, Muskogee was designated as home of the facility, in a nod to Merle Haggard, also an inductee, who put the place on the map with his Okie from Muskogee.

Considering the outstanding lifetime achievements of talented Oklahoma musicians, we can also appreciate the contribution they make to the quality of life for Oklahomans and everyone across the globe.
